Refund & cancellation
Rules for deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds on audit engagements with Secure Routing Net.
Scope
This policy applies to professional audit engagements described on this site — full controls audits, licensing readiness reviews, safeguarding tests, and follow-up checks. It does not cover goods, software licences, or subscription products, which we do not sell.
Refund eligibility
Refunds are assessed against the signed engagement letter and the stage of work completed. Website inquiries alone do not create fees or refunds.
Timeframe to request
Refund or cancellation requests should be sent in writing to hello@secure-routingnet.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, a cancelled fieldwork window), unless the engagement letter sets a different period.
Deposits
A deposit (typically 30%) secures a fieldwork month. If you cancel more than 21 days before the scheduled start of fieldwork, the deposit is refundable minus an administrative fee of NT$15,000. Cancellations within 21 days forfeit the deposit unless we successfully rebook the window with another client for the same period, in which case we refund the deposit less the administrative fee.
Full or partial refunds
- Before fieldwork begins — fees paid beyond the forfeited deposit portion (if any) are refundable.
- After fieldwork begins — fees for work already performed (planning memo, sample testing days, interviews) are non-refundable; unused prepaid amounts for unfinished stages may be partially refunded on a pro-rata basis.
- After delivery of the final pack — fees for completed deliverables are non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs already incurred with your written approval (for example, certified translations or couriered bank confirmation fees), completed findings workshops, and delivered final packs are non-refundable.
Rescheduling
You may request one reschedule of the fieldwork window with at least 14 days’ notice at no charge, subject to our capacity. Further reschedules or short-notice changes may incur a rescheduling fee of NT$25,000 or require a new deposit.
No-shows
If key interviewees or evidence access are unavailable on agreed fieldwork days without 48 hours’ notice, those days remain chargeable. We will attempt to rebook within the engagement, but repeated no-shows may lead to termination with fees due for work performed.
Work already started
Once the planning memo is signed and evidence review or interviews have begun, cancellation triggers billing for time spent at the rates or fixed portions stated in the engagement letter.
Refund process & timing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14–21 business days after written approval. Bank transfer refunds may require you to confirm account details.
Method
Refunds are issued by bank transfer or the original invoice settlement channel. We do not process card checkout on this website.
Exceptions
If we cancel an engagement for reasons other than your breach or independence conflict arising from information you withheld, prepaid unused fees including the deposit are refundable in full.
